International Bio-League Competition

A totally online-held global competition on general biology: Anatomy & Physiology, Genetics & Evolution, Biochemistry & Cell Biology, Ecology & Ethology.

Competition System

Two phases designed to test breadth, speed, and accuracy across the four biology sections.

Phase 1: Open Round

Online open-round (Bio-league) across the four biology sections.
The first phase is simply multiple-choice questions on the same four sections.
Top teams qualify to Phase 2.

Phase 2: Match Phase

Top 16 teams qualify for a fast-paced second phase.
Fast-paced questions with three rounds for every team.

Prizes

After Phase 2 ends, medals and recognition are awarded based on team ranking.

Medal Status

Top 3 teams earn the “Gold Medal” status.
Next 4 teams (ranks 4-7) earn “Silver Medal”.
Last 3 teams (ranks 8-10) earn “Bronze Medal”.

Recognition & Certificates

Gold medalists receive a nomination for the Lumiere research program.
Top 10 teams receive a recommendation letter from the president, validated by academic partners.
Special certificates are given to all Phase 2 qualifiers, validated through signatures by co-organizers.
