Competition System

Phase 1 is the open-round multiple-choice exam across four biology sections. Then the top 16 teams qualify to Phase 2, a fast-paced match phase with three rounds per team.

• Top 3 teams: “Gold Medal” status.
• Ranks 4-7: “Silver Medal”.
• Ranks 8-10: “Bronze Medal”.

Recognition

• Golden medalists: nomination for the Lumiere research program.
• Top 10 teams: recommendation letter from the president, validated by academic partners.
• Phase 2 qualifiers: special certificates with co-organizers’ signature validation.
